The Christmas Arcade Auction Sale will be held at The Playdium Store in Toronto on Saturday November 8th, 2008. The Playdium Store specializes in amusement solutions for home, business, and office.
You can bid on arcade games, pinball machines and many more items. Viewing of items takes place between 9:30AM and 11:30AM. The auction then begins at 11:30AM.

Going home from work on the 401 I drive past a new store called The Playdium Store. The Playdium name has been attached to a couple of big video game arcades in and around Toronto (even Sega was attached to the Playdium name at one point).
With varying levels of success, it seems that Playdium has now branched out to selling full-sized arcade consoles. I haven’t had the opportunity to visit the store but it looks very inviting with its flashing neon coming from within. They seem to sell not only video arcade games, but I think they also sell wares like pinball machines, air hockey tables, and even jukeboxes. One of these days I should pay a visit to at least take in the electric ambiance.
